Lake Ödevata is perfectly still with only your own paddle strokes breaking up the mirror-like surface.The lake is a typical stunning Swedish lake, long and narrow with many picturesque bays and islands. During your motor home vacation in Småland book an exclusive canoe trip with your family or friends and park overnight in the midst of nature.
Wilderness meal over open fire
After the canoe paddling tour you eat a lovely three-course wilderness meal based on local delicacies and inspired by tasty ingredients from the "forest pantry". During the canoe trip you must have built up quite an appetite, so now it is time for some great outdoor cooking! You get to smoke, cook, fry and bake finger-licking foodstuffs under your hostess´s supervision. The Tipi-tipi offers a cosy atmosphere and good weather protection.
About the visit
Time: 4 hours
Participants: 2-8 persons, 9 am - 1 pm or 3 - 7 pm.
Price: 2.800 SEK for 2 persons. Extra participants at 450 SEK per person. Food and drinks included.

The calm lake Ödevata is located deep into the forest and is perfect for canoeing, swimming and fishing. Our recommended tour is about 10 km, starting at the lake's north end and heading south before turning back. Whether you are an experienced kayaker or just beginning to develop your paddling skills, we are sure you will have a wonderful experience. We use Canadians, which are very stable canoes designed for two people.

Your hostess Malin has extensive experience in organising expeditions and outdoor cooking. She will make sure that you have everything you need for a great day out and a healthy meal.
An exciting orienteering challenge with geocaching
Want to try geocaching? Malin and Magnus at the Ödevata Fiskecamp resort can give you more information about this fun activity and lend you a GPS receiver to help you navigate.
The excursions are suitable for geocachers’ of different skills levels. It is an exciting and challenging tour for those already accomplished in geocaching. It is also a great option for those who enjoy the outdoors and are trying out the activity for the first time.
You can find several caches during the canoe trip on lake Ödevata.
You can follow the coordinates of the caches’ locations, but you are also free to choose your own stopovers. The Swedish right of public access allows you to step ashore and explore its splendid nature as long as you are respectful to animals and plants.
